Redneck Pedal Steel Guitar Build Project
I have been setting up some jigs for cutting these pull fingers with my power miter saw. I want to build a six string E9th pedal steel guitar. I want it to have 3 floor pedals and 2 knee levers.

Yes You Tube has been a great resource for learning to play as well as learning to build steel guitars! I am loving it!

I want a project something to tinker in the garage with, and if it takes me a couple of years since I am retired and on a fix income it's still good. I like your pedal steel. Do you offer plans for your pedal steel design? what would the cost be to build a pedal steel guitar?

I don't have any plans put together but my friend Slim in Texas does. I bought his disc and it was tremendously helpful. He has a website that every inspiring builder should check out: http://htredneck.weebly.com/htredneckcom.html

I'd love to buy one of those plates you made for the 10 string practice board (the one with the pickup). It has the volume and jack on it. Would you consider selling one? I can't seem to craft my own. Thanks!

Yes I could make one like that. Do you have the body built yet? Would I need to make the plate fit your body or are you going to make the body to fit the plate? String spacing on mine was 11/32" like a Sho-Bud pedal steel. You can contact me at: [email protected]

Mr. Miller, You mentioned, in a reply to a comment on your "youtube" video, that a friend of yours is selling his Miller six string pedal steel. Is it still for sale and if it is how could I go about buying it, thanks

Hi, I bought the fretboard templates but there are only two 23.5 inch templates and only for 6 string. I have an 8 string (3inch wide neck) x 23.5 inch scale. The 24" scale file would be out of sync fretwise wouldn't they. Could you help me with some advice on this please, much appreciated

Hi Richard, I was wanting 3 BLACK fretboards for 8string 22.5 scale if possible, as I am still in build mode (some would call rework). First choice is the red/black asterisks, second choice is the white dots, third is the white side pointing left/right arrows. Thanks

Wondering how much it would be for one of your pedal steels this would be my first one so up to any suggestions you have. I am a veteran guitar player so not totally new to this realm but let me know. Thank you

Depending on what you want I can build a six string basic pedal steel guitar with 2 pedals and 1 knee lever for $700 + shipping up to a 10 string with 3 pedals and 4 knee levers for $1000 + shipping. These are standard student model pull/release guitars
